\ n-~oHn^ r.f householders was. held at :,. . ■■......: «,!i. ■ Vshton, for the purpose of electing a School Committee for the district. Mr T. Taylor, the Chairman of the retiring Committee was voted to the chair, after which he read the annual re-, port, which was adopted. A ballot was then taken, and the following gentlemen were duly elected :—Messrs T. Taylor, J. Shearer, R. Gilmour, J. Croy, W. Crpy, I. Ashton and I. Crossan. Mr J. Croy moved, and Mr I. Ashton seconded, that Mr T. Taylor be re-elected Chairman, which was 'agreed to. • At a meeting of the Committee held "subsequently Mr Shearer was appointed to countersign cheques, and the meetings of Committee were appointed to be held on the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m. After some other, business was disposed of the Committee adjourned.
