NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. Races at Ashburton, April 23rd and 24th. SATURDAY return tickets to Ashburton, available for return up to 25th April, will be, issued on the 23rd and 24th inst. at Christchurch, Timaru, and inter mediate stations. On the 23rd and 24th the Express train from Christchurch will stop to set down passengers at the Ashburton Saleyards siding, if required. On the 24th the train due from Ashburton for Timaru at 3.45 p.m. will start at 5.35 p.m. and run 1 hour 50 minutes later than timetable times ; and on the 23rd and 24th the Mount Somers train will leave Ashburton at 5.45 p.m., and run 1 j hour 20 minutes later than timetable times 4|133 BY ORDER.
