London, April 19. The manifesto issued by the National Federation to the English Trades Unions, insists that they should adhere; to May 1 as the day on which to hold the labor demonstration. It is improbable that the Unions will accept this, having already chosen May 4 as a more convenient day Vienna, April 19. The Austrian Government have advised the masters to assist the labor" demonstration on May 1. At Buda Pesth, procession through the streets has been forbidden, but the employees will be permitted to hold a mass meeting in favor of eight hours' labor.. • Warsaw, April 19. , A conflict has taken place between miners on strike at Wilkowitzi and the military. Sixty were arrested and three killed. At the prison the prisoners attacked the sentries, and twenty escaped in the excitement.
