Wellington, April 15. It has been finally decided to hold a special session of the General Synod for the election of Primate on April 23. The use of the Diocesan building has been granted. It is hoped the business may be finished in time to let visiting members away by Friday of the same week. Dunedin, April 15. ' In Lever Brothers v Collector of Customs, the Judge held that sunlight soaps were properly chargeable as fancy soaps, and gave judgment for the Crown with costs.
