St Marks's Church South Rakaia.

On the motion of Mr Hardy, seconded by Mr Gorringe, a hearty yote of thanks was. accorded to those ladies and gentlemen who recently gave a dramatic entertainment to raise funds for painting and repairing the church. A meeting of the newly elected Vestry wa,s, then li§Jd, when it wss decided, in*er alia, to dis^ oontinue the morning lay services, with a view to infusing new life and vigour into the management of the Sunday School. A vote of thanks to the Chair terminated the meeting.
