HORSE MARKET. I MR T. BULLOCK. Mr T, Bullock reports for the week end- , ing Saturday, April 12th: —There was again a large entry of horses, viz., 39, including draughts, light harness horses, and hacks. Bidding was languid, as farmers will not buy aged horses except at very low prices, and the'reserves placed on some of the young horses were considered excessive, also on some of the aged, otherwise more would have been sold. Out of the day's entry of 39, 14 were sold at the following prices, i viz., A pair of fillies, 2-year-olds, unbroken, of a lighfc description, £20 10s; 6-year-old draught gelding, £17 ; aged dratights, £5 5s, j £9.; inferior, £2 15s, £4 10s; hacks, £6, I£9 ss, light harness hor?es, £3 2s 6d, £6 ss, inferior, £1 Is, £2 2s 6d, scrubbers, from 12s 6d. Sundries : dray and frame brought £710s, set of harrows, £4 10s, double-furrow plough, £2 10s, saddle £2 9s, leading chains, 13s to 18s per pair, collars, harness, and blinkers, from 8s to 18s 6d per set, horse covers, lls to 13s 6d, whipple-trees, blocks, and a quantity of sundries, all at full I market rates. ,

ALFRED HARRISON. Mr Alfred Harrison reports his weekly sale as follows, Saturday 12th: — Cows.—Good quality, just calved, up to £5 15s. Aged and inferior animals are unsaleable. Pigs.—There was a large entry, all the larger sizes of slips selling at good prices, while the smaller sizes were not so much in request. Slips, small, 4s, 4s 3d, 4s 6d, ss, 5s 6d, 6s 6d, 7s, 7a 6d and 8s 6d; slips, large, 12s, 14s aud 17s 6d; sows, 40s to 50s.
