Sydney, April 14. The trunk of the old man named Taylor, who was murdered near Wagga, has been discovered. The man in custody on the charge of murder has made two unsuccessful attempts to commit suicide.
All the inhabitants of Bourkc are engaged throwing up earthworks to protect the town from flood water. The Darling river is from 16 to 21 miles wide near Walgett. A dam at Brewarrina, 507 miles north-west from Sydney, has burst and inundated the town, but no fatalities are recorded,
