1 - Wellington, April 11. t The Jubilee Committe have a net surplus of some £250. There was a long discussion to-night about the disposal of this money, some being in favor of erectan obelisk, similar to the commemorative memorial, and some wishing to. hand it "over to the Public Library fund. It'Vas. eventually decided „to entrust ■it to the Committee, who should dispose of it as they saw 'fit. It is understood that a :memorial will be erected. DtTNEDiN, April 11. The Magistrate lias granted a re-hearing of the ginger ale case, stating he had misapprehended Professor Black's evidence regarding sulphuric acid and carbonate.
