Melbourne, April 11. A slight panic occurred in the city thrdugh telephone wires coming into contact with wires used for electric lighting purposes, and thus causing several incipient fires. The Government having been approached on the subject they have stated their intention to introduce a bill for effectually supervising oyej-head wires.
