Auckland, April 9.
• Bishop Sehvyn, of the Melanesian mission, with Mrs Selwyn and child, returned from England, via Sydney, to-day. He is in excellent health, Bishop Selwyn may leave in a few days by the Southern Cross for the Melanesian group, but it is probable that he will attend a meeting of the General Synod, to consider the Primacy dispute, should such meeting be convened.
