Rodd, claim £5 17s. s Mr Purnell appeared for- plaintiff and called defendant and John Stalker. The latter did not appear. Dr Leahy deposed that the defendant was in regular work, and now with a threshing machine. The case was adjourned for a week to ha^e the evidence of Mr Stalker obtained. POWCE CASE. A boy of 11 yeara of age was oharged with crossing the railway line with a buggy when an engine was close at hand, on at level orossing.
