• +. , [PER PRES3 ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, April 9. At a meeting of the Trades and Labor Council, it was resolved to agree to the Rev Mr Berry's proposal to refer the Petone dispute to abitration provided that if it be proved to jdie satisfaction of the Arbitration Committee that certain, hands have been discharged for belonging to the Union, all those at present locked out be given share and share alike in work with those at present employed in the mill, arid that none but Unionists be recognised.
