Sydney, April 3, Mr E". M. Gard Eddy, Chief Commissioner of Jlajjwam has instituted an action for criminal libel against the proprietors of the "Tarnworth News/ and civil actions against several other journals aro to follow, his object being to .show that an organisation 'exists to throw discredit on his management of the railways.
