The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile j Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from London, J dated Ist April :— ' Wheat—Market is very quiet. New Zealand long-berried and average is worth respectively 37s 3d and 33s 9d per 4961b ; New Zealand f.a.q. is worth, c.i.f. to arrive, 33s 6d per 4801b, February-March bill of lading. Rabbit Skins—The demand is active. Best descriptions have advanced 2d and medium 2|d per lb since last report j inferior descriptions are unchanged. (Received April 3, 0,20 p.m.) London, April 2. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,600,000 quarters; for the Continent 668,000 quarters. The amount of the American visible supply is estimated at 27,104,000 bushels.
