Dolman asking for an inventory of Fire Be'gade plant.— Matter tn be attended to, (4) From Mr J. G RsateU otfarlng to loosi reserve 1223, Flave'oak street west. — Referred to the R3servea Committee. (5) From Me J G. Reotelf asking permlsalon t) transfer lease ol oettaln reserves oconpled by him to Messrs Fooks and Son. — Permission granted. (6) From Railway Department ordering 80 iron pipes. -The matter, It was reported, was receM-ig attention. • BNQINEBBB' BEPORT. The Engiaeers reported that the labor gang had. b^en engaged shingling streets, constructing eump and laying pipes m West street for additional water supply, scooping and levelling at gravel pit reserve, East Town Belt, clearing race and repairing falls at intake of water supply at the river and at Mr Williamson's, catting poplars and planting m the Domain, attending to water supply and sundry maintenance work. , Th« report was adopted, BWIBISH, The Chairman of the Works Committee was instructed to have, the blanches, lopped from trees m the Domain, oloared away within a fortnight. The Mayor suggested that if the present dusty weather oontinuea the water oart should be brought out. :> LICENSE, A public building license waa issued In respect of the Orange Hal* PAYMENTS. Aocounta amounting to £65 were passed for payment and the Oonnoil adjourned.
