RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. The meeting will be held under the Rules of Racing; the Trotting Race under the Rules of the Canterbury Trotting Association. 2. No entry will be received except oa the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out of the racing shall- be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. Their decision on all points con« nected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. 3. A district horse shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident m the district between the rivers Selwyn and Opihi. from July 20th, 1889, and up to the date of the meeting, and owned by a person who has resided m the said district during the same period. 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable iv accordance with this programme for the expenses of the course. 5- AU nomination and acceptance fees to go to the funds of the Club, NOMINATIONS.
