Of store oattle there were fewer entries than usual, only comparatively small lots of mixed sorts being submitted. In dairy oows there was very little if any ohange, very few good oows being yarded. Sheep.— Of fat Bheep there was again an immense entry, over 7000 being yarded. In some oases the quality was very superior, and for these keen competition arose among the Buyers for freezing. In other oases, where the quality was dqficient, there was a very deoided drop on the prioes obtaiued for the last two weeks, m some oases equal to |d per lb. he drop increased during the day, many good lines being withdrawn m oonsequenoe. In store Bheep there was a very fair entry, and the supply was of a kind oalaulated to find a ready market, The following are the prioes obtained :— Crossbred hoggets up to 10s, orossbred ewes m lamb 5s lid, 6s, 8s 3d, 10s lid, aoaording to quality, age and condition, merino ewes, also m lamb, 3s 9d to ss, orossbred lambs, 7s Id to 8a 6d. There was a fairly numerous entry of fat lambs, for whioh competition was brisk and prioes good. Pigs,— There was n fair entry of pigs, mostly good Btores.
