Mr T. Bollock reports for the week ending Setarday, August 17*'a. There waß au average att ndance of farmers and other country set'lers, 29 horses were offered at the day's Bale ; amongst them were very few medium draughts for which there were inquiries ; those offered were only of rather a light stamp. 19 out of the total entry were ao'd as follows, viz : — Medium dr*ught3 4 and 5 years old, light, £14, £17 ; 6 year old, £15 ; aged, £3 10j, £6 10s, £9, £11, according to description, light harness horses sold better than at previous Bales, £5, £7 15s, £8 ss, £9 ; inferior, £3, £3 10a ; hocks, £4, £6 10* ; inferior, £2, £2 5b ; scrubbers from 10s to 30-i. Sundries, a set of harrows, £2 53 ; saddle, £1 8s ; dray and frame, £17 10s ; shaft and leading harness, plough ohains, horse covers, etc., at market prices.
