THE DERVISH DEFEAT.
[PISR PttESS ABBOOIATION ] Oaiho, Augnut 5. Major-General Grenfell has captured 1000 prisoners, besides a large number of weapons and one gun. The remnant of the Dervishes was driven into the desert, there to die of hunger or thirst. Goneral Grcnfell lost seventeen killed and one hundred and thirty wounded. It has been decided to occupy Hadris. The troops aro returning to Cairo, tho invasion being at an end.
