Queensland favors the proposal that a Conference should be held m respect to urging upon the Imperial Government the granting of a constitution to Western Australia, The Victorian Premier opposes the project on the ground that the delay which has taken place will prove fatal to the Bill. Sir H. Parkes, the Premier of New South Wales, persists that it is desirable that a Conference should be held.
