(6) From tha survey office re, the road *he Board ara desirous to have laid of. The Olerk > stated the letter had been replied to and: - further particulars forwarded. It w*a resolved, on tbe motion of Mf Harper, seconded by Mr Sargent, that « general rate be atrnok and levied on August 26; b, 1889. as under : No 1 Ward, r three-elghtbs of a penny In the £j 2 W»rd, one farthing (n tbe £; No. 3, 4 and 6 W&rdß, a halfpenny In the £, payable m. \ cne cum on September 9h, 1889, foe tha period endlug 3Lst Mar oh. 1890. It waa reaolved to call for tenders foif* the following works:— (1) Formation of some 80 chains of the Swamp road running pait the Borough reserve known as St. Helena ; (2) FotmatlQ.a of one mile of read running thr««gh He MoDonneU'd property Dear Ohertsey, f>«xt main south road ; (3) For shingling some 25 chains Aliens road, Allentor, 10 yard«i to the ohaln ; (4) Foe carting Borne 300 yatdi ohlnglo, mor.Q.pr loos, on to the Alford Forest road where ' reqaired between the town bole and Mr Smith* slaughter yard. Aooonnta amounting to £156 10j 9J were passed for payment, and the Board a^jonraed.
