CORRESPONDENOH. litften were read : (1) From the Board of Education stating that the Olerk of Works had been Inatroo'ed to report upoD repairs to the eohool and to (he master's home. (2) From the Board of Education stating that they had deolded to purchase a qaarter-aora of l*nd for additional playgroand accommodation and requesting the Committee to obtain offars. — The Secretary said that an offer of a eeotlon had been obtained and forwarded to the Board as requested. PLANTING The Secretary waa instructed to apply to the Board for a grant of £5 for planting abotu eight ohslna on the North West side of the grou ids. master's report. The Master's report allowing strict average 282 7 was read and adopted. INSPECTOR'S REPORT, The report of the laspeotor on the recent examination waa read as follows : — The organisation is satisfactory and the time-tables are oonstraoted on good prloolplee; The school Is admirably managed and taught. Me Mayne (s a thoroughly effioient headmaster, and he is well supported by hl# assistants. Mies Jjhlrtol fia has the Infant department In firetrate' condition. The order and attention and the methods of instruction are all that ooald bo desired. The discipline la>good. PAYMENTS. Aooounts amounting to £18 16s 8d were pawed for payment and the Committee adjourned.
