At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Farmers' Co -Operative Association of Canterbury, Limited, held to-day, the /balance sheet shows that the net ffprofita for the year amounts to £7,150 12s, and adding the balance brought forward from lust year of £1103 19s 7d, the total amount to be dealt pith is £8254 lla Bd. The directors propose the usual dividend of 7 per cent, and a bonus of 4 per cent, on the called up capital ; also a bonus of 4 per cent, on shareholders' purchases of merchandise during .tbe year. They also propose to write 20 per cent, off the items of machinery, and office furniture, and to add to the reserve fund £1500 ; the balanoeto be carried forward. The direotors propose a further issue of 3000 new shares at a ' premium of half- a- crown per share, the premium to be added to the reserve fund.
