GOVERNMENT OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA.
Sir F, N. Broome, Governor of Western Australia, has written a long letter to the "Times," m which he argues that the Constitutional Bill passed by the Legislative Council of Western Australia is entirely misunderstood m England, and he expresses the hope that its immediate passage will not be prevented. The "Daily News," referring to the question of granting responsible government to Western Australia, declared that the Bill drawn up_ by Lord Koutsford materially restricts the disposal of lands m that colony.
