Mr Bollock reports : Previous to the usual horse sale I offered a number of implored farms, unimproved rural land, 6b. There was a very good attendance, but biddings were languid, and only one property changed hands, viz., 597 acres being R&'b 22737 and 22738, part of Somerlon Estate, Rakaia, which was •old at £6 15s per core, equal to £4029 15s, Mr Thomas Morland being the purohawr, After the iale there were enquiries f or the unsold portion of the Somerton Estate, whioh I nave no doubt will lead to sales being effected. Boy era are operating with extreme oaution. Privately I have disposed of Lots 40, 41, 42, the light land portion of Grove Farm Estate, fronting Graham's Boad, a* follows ; Lot 40, containing 30i lr 23p at £11 per acre, £831 5s 2d ; Lots 41. 42, containing 65 aoret, £10 per aore. £650.
