THE MURDER OF DR CRONIN.
New York, June 19. It is asserted that* the arrest of Maroney and M'Donald, the men who could not be identified, was mainly a ruse to divert attention, and enable the police to secure two others, named Martin and Burke. They had taken alarm and fled, but were captured at Winnipeg. New York, .Tune 20. It is reported that the man Burke has confessed to participation m the murder of Dr Crooin, and wishes to become Queen's evidence.
