THE GERMANS IN SAMOA.
Londoh, June lb*i Sir James Fergusson stated m the House of Commons that the German Government did not approve of the action of the Commander who arrested a British subject on board the steamer Richmond, and searched the vessel for contraband cargo. He was informed that the German authorities were considering the propriety of compensating the owners of the vessel.
