Mr D. Christie-Murray, nqvelist, who intends making a tour of Australia and New Zealand, sails by the New Zealand Shipping Company's Aorangi on the 27th. ' SIR H. LOCH. Sir Henry Loch, Governor of Victoria, has arranged to meet Mr Gladstone at Sir Win. Vernon Harcourt's country seat, New Forest. Sir Henry expresses a desire to remain m Victot ii, but asserts that the Imperial Government are pressing him to accept the Governorship of Cape Colony with a view of shelving Sir Hercules Robinson.
