In the House of Commons to-day a resolution moved by Mr Bradlaugh objecting to the proposed terms of commuting perpetual pensions was rejected by a majority of 49. The Budget has passed through Committee. Mr Gladstone's motion providing for equalising death duties on realty and personal estate was rejected by a majority of 76.
