SHERWOOD DOWNS SALE.

Following were the prioeß obtained at yesterday's sale : — 4BB crossbred ewes six and eight-tooth, m lamb to Lincoln rams, 8s ; 445 orossbred ewes, m lamb to Linooln rams, 6s ; 620 sound-mouthed merino ewes, 4s 2d ; 864 nrst-oross lambs at 6s Id to 6s 2d ; 586 second-oross lambs, at 6s 5d to 6s 6d; 57 cull lambs at 3a 2d; 41 Shropshire cross lambs at 63 sd.

Stdd Sheep. —20 two-tooth Shropshire ewes at 3gs each, 10 do at l£g, 10 four- tooth ewes at 2gs, 10 do at l£g, 20 ewe lambs at l£g, 40 do at ljg, 20 do at £ g, 20 do at £g, 49 ram lambs at lq, 425 mixed two-tooths at 8s 3d, 72 orossbred ewes at 4s Id.

A few horses and oattle realised good prices, and twenty-five acres of turnips were withdrawn at 255, the owners' reserve being 30s per acre, but it was understood that buyers were available at the reserve.
