FLEMINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
A meeting of the Board of Managers was held on Tuesday evening last la the ohuroh, when there were present : Messrs T, Taylor (Chairman), G, Gilmour, J. Oroy, W. Prebble, J. Shearer, W. Dakers, and J. Dann.
Mr Geo. GUmouc stated that, as he was going on a visit to the Old Oonntry and would be absent for some time, he begged to resign his offioa as Treasurer.
It was resolved that Mr J. Oroy be elected treisnrer In his piaoe. Mr T. Mitchell was appointed auditor In the room of Mr Oroy, It was stated that the proceeds of the tea meeting were about £36 ; and the secretary was instructed to convey the thanks of the Committee to Miss Nellie Feohney and Miss Martha Anderson for collecting ■übiorlptlom for tha bachelors' table and presiding at It.
A vote of thanks was also oarrled to Mr Geo. Gllmour, for the able manner In whloh he had fulfilled the position of treasurer during the past year. It wa» resolved that the annnal tea Meeting be held m future In the month of October, the next meeting to ba held In Ootober 1889.
Mr Taylor was appointed to arrange with a nurseryman to plant the boundary fence of the Ohuroh groqnd with macrooarpa.
|t wai resolved that the ground be qleared and fences trimmed on Friday 10th Inst., other members to be asked to asiUt.
