Tbe usual monthly meeting of the above Board was held on Wednesday, May Ist. All the members present, Mr Walker m the ohaic.
The overseer's report was read and con sldered.
The drain near Jolley'a was ordered to be oleanad out. Several other matters were held over for the new Board to deal with. COBBESPONDEKCB. Correspondence was read — (1) From Mr M. Fagan asking to bave his name put on the 801 l for Lot 1, part Reserve 2027. Granted— (2) From Mr 4. W. Smith askiog to have his name put ou tbe 801 l for Lot 4 part Reserve 2027- Granted — (3; From the same asking to nave a out ting made Into the river bed near Mr Graham's [ wool shed. Resolved to grant £1 towards the work, the same to be done to the satisfaction of tbe Overseer,— (4) From Mr W. FinUyson asking to have bis name put on the Roll for Seotton 17764. Held over for the present.— (s) From the Oonnty Oonnotl forwarding oopy of Electoral RtU rVr the Mount tiomers rldlog, and asking itt the s&me to be on view at the Board's office. Granted — (6) From the same asklDg if the road to Me J, Milne's property had been dedicated. The Olerk stated that the required information had beeu sent.— (7) Feom tbe tama agreeing to several works mentioned m the Board's letter of March 12th.— (8) From Messrs Brooke and J. M. Cambridge enclosing clroular re poisoned grain. Received. PAYMSNT, The pay sheet amounting to £52 32s 8d wait passed for payment, and the Board adjourned.
