Duhbdin, April 1, In the orlminal sittings of the Supreme Court to-day the following sentence! were passed :- Tboa Naaajhton, laroeny. 6 months hird labor; Neil Berstem, breaking into and stealing, 2 years hard labor ; William Lancaster , forgery, nine months bard labor. Oiyde JEdgar Herbert Stoyle pleaded gailty to a ohatge of In. decent assault. Sentence was deferred. Fredk. Olapbam was convioted of five ciaes of false pretences and sentence wai deferred, iilohard Lord acoaied of Indecent aisbnlt was acquitted. Robert Oatlyle charged with b-irglary evlnoed signs oMosantty wh-^n plaoed upon trial. On • medical examination be was found qalte lns»no. A jary was empanelled and fonad a verdiot to thtt effect and be was ordered to be oonfined during the Colonial Secretary's pleasure. John MoManua for the Hip* Island murder will be tried on Wednesday.
