In the House of Lords to-day, the Marquis of Salisbury pronounced a eulogism on the late Mr John Bright. He described him as the greatest master of English oratory who had been heard for several generations. His eloquence was robust and power* ful, and burning with noble thoughts. He alluded to Mr Brighi's rectitude of character, saying that his actioos were never guided by personal feeling, but were inspired by the purest patriotism from the beginning to the end of his career.
