London, March 19 • Replying to a question m the House af Commons regarding the departure af the Channel Squadron for Tangiers, r?ir James Fergusson said the matters at issue between the British Government and the Government ot Morocco were of a serious nature and had reference to the murder of a British subject m Morocco, and the extension oi the cable system. Up to the present no satisfactory settlement had been arrived at with the Government of Morocco.
