There was about an average attendance of farmers and others For medium draughts of a good stamp bidding were fairly spirited and up to £24 was realised for a five year old mare. O«t of the day's entry of 27, 15 were sold «t the following prices, viz., medium draught mare! »od geldlngf £23 10 b, £24, ag«d £11 16«, £12, £15, according to deecription ; ditto of a lighter stamp, £0 10s to £10 ; Light harness horses. £7, £9 ; inferior, £1 2s 64 to £1 10s ; hacks, £3 to £5, only those of a very medium stamp changing hands. Sundries— Buggy and h»rnees brought £15, saddle and bridle, £2 Is ; winnowing snaebine, £6 15s ; quantity of harness at market rates.
