A fire took place about midnight last night at Belfast, by which the men's quarters &». Mr Watt's f«otory were destroyed. The fire originated m the cook's galley, the flames being first seen coming out of tho roof of this part of tbe building, Tbe fire was first noticed by the watohman at tbe Belfast freezing works, and he gave an alarm. The band engine belonging to the Fret sing Workg was taken to the spot, but the fire bad to atrocg a hold to be successfully poped with. The building Is an old one and is valoed at about £200. Most of the property belonging to tbe men was saved, but soma of their effiots. inoluding two 01 three watohes, werb destroyed.
