AFFAIRS IN SAMOA.
London, Maroh 11 to 13. In the House of Commons Sir James Fergusson, Political Secretary to the Foreign Office, admitted, m reply to a question, that a passenger by the steamer Richmond had recently been abducted by the German authorities at Samoa. He explained that Prince Bismarck had expressed disapproval of the action of the German officials m the matter, and that Dr Knapp, German Consul at Samoa, had been recalled.
