Figott has disappeared. He failed to put m an appearance at the Court to-day, and it has been ascertained that he has been missing from his hote! since eleven o'clock last night.
Sir Charles Russell stated that on Saturday Pigott, m the presence of Mr Labouchere and Mr Safe, signed a written confession that he had forged the famous letters. Mr Shannon a solicitor of the " Times " produced a tetter written by Pigott, stating that the confession was untrue. In the letter Pigott stated that he got tbe first batch of the letters from Pat Casey, and that he believed them to be genuine. Pigott fays that be wrote tbe body, and th*s Casey forged the signature of two of the second batch of the ParneU letters. He further states that a letter purporting to be Davitt's and one of CKell/s were forged, hut none of Egan'f.
