Mr Morley has given notice of an amendment to the Address-in-Reply to the Queen's speech, setting forth that the harsh, oppressive and unjust conduct of the Government towards Ireland is viewed with aversion m Britain, and advising a conciliatory policy. Lord Salisbury speaking of Irish Affairs, said that peace and order were steadily returning m Ireland, and that outrages and boycotting bad greatly decreased.
