MESON'S PORTLAND CEMENT I HAVE been appointed AQENT FOR ABHBURTON for this very high quality Cement. JOHN G. RESTELL. «• _ _ _ _ _ WILBON'S PORTLAND CEMENT has been testod by Mr Derbiidge, who gives the following report : — Lyttelton, 26th January, 1888. I have tested the sample of Cement delivered to me on Friday, 18th inst, with the following result ; — 1 962 1 940 1"9061bs per brlquett. Thin I consider a good tost, but had it been cooler I think the result would have been better, as the Cement sots too quiokly m this very hot dry weather. (Bgd) S. Djbkbridgi, Inspector of Works for Harbor Board, Lyttelton. Tho above gives an average test of 4161bs per square inoh. Knight, Bevan, and Bturges test gave an average of 3401bs per square inoh. It will be seen by the above that the Auckland Cement retains its position as being folly equal If not superior to the Best Brand of Imported Cement. Money kept m New Zealand, benefits us ail* In the large works m and noar Christ* ohuroh this Cement is being used, JOHN GrRESTELL, ft 4<HSHT, ASBBUBIQU,
