For beef quotations are merely nominal. At the wool sales crossbreds continue very firm. Good merinos are Bteady at last quotations, medium sorts irregular. London, February 5. At the wool sales to-day the bidding was spirited. The money market is hardening. Colonial stocks are cheapening. Hemp is quoted at - from £37 5s to £37 10s. Svdwhy, February 5 Private advices have been received here to the effect that tallow has fallen 30s per ton .
