At the opening of the wool sales to- . day 9,400 bales were catalogued, threesevenths of which come from the Gape. There was a large attendance. Medium merino averaged a half-penny lower. Good qualities are unchanged. Fine j ©rossbreds are a half-penny higher; medium unchanged. A quarter of a million bales will be available for this series.
