Melbourne, January 15, At the enquiry into the collision between the Hauroto and the ship King Arthur m Hobson's Bay, a lookout man on board the former deposed he could not see the ship's light, and only caught sight of her hull when too late. The Court considered the officers of the steamer did everything m their power to avert the collision, and there was no necessity to interfere with their certificates. They ' expressed the opinion that the ship was anchored too close to the light ship.
