Mr Dixm, 4 gentleman- ot escep.ional phy^iquo and athletic powers, was not bo exhausted, and seeing Kennedy (-.blacksmith oa the statu n) drowning, vent m aa.a'in to save him. However, Dixon either became' exhausted or was clutched by Kennedy, for ho sank, and both were drowned. Dixon waa married only a few weeks ago.
