[Pbe Pebss Association.] : London, Deoember 6, Before the " Times "-Parnell Commission to day a witness named Burke, an Irish farmer, gave evidence as to the determination arrived at by the Clonburn branch of the League to murder Lord Mountmorris, and stated that he was asked to assist m the murder, The witness deposed that he half consented to assist m the murder but eventually declined to have anything to do with the affair. The night of the murder the witness stated that he was informed by a companion that the deed had been committed, and that Lord Mountmorris was dead. Sir Charles Russell considerably damaged the witness m cross-examination without, however, shaking the main points of his evidence. !
