I The meeting will be held under tbe rules of racing, and the Ashbmton Racing Club Rules 3 No entry will be received except on the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. Their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme c he final. 3 A district horse shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident m the district between the rivers Selwyn and Opihi, from August 20th, 1 818, and up to the date of the forthcoming meeting, and owned by a person Who has resided m the said district during the sameperiod. „ 4 Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable m accordance with .this programme for the expenses of the course. 5.
