(JMSR PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Washington, November 12. The worst fears regarding the colliery explosion at Fittsburg are realised, and it is now ascertained that 160 miners lost their lives. Washington, November 13 Ninety -six bodies have been recovered from the debris m the mine at Pittsburg, where the explosion occurred on the 10th. The mutilated blackened remains presented a shocking and sickening sight. Heartrending scenes occurred at the mouth of the pit as the bodies were brought to the surface and recognised by relatives, many of whom 'Were women and children. It is believed that there are forty more bodies to ba taken out of the mine.
