Bullock reports on the horse ma.ket for the week ending Saturday, April iStlr : There was only a moderate attendance, and biddings were rather languid. There were a large number oflight horses entered, for which there was not much demand, and a few good draughtsfaged), but owners reserves were considered too high, consequently more horses were turned but unsold than at previous sales. Out of the total entry of 27, 14 were sold at the foJowing prices, viz : —Medium draughts of a good stamp, Ll 6 ios to Ll 9, ditto, rather light, Ll 3 to Ll 4 10; 3-year-olds, unbroken, of a light description, a pair at L2O, ditto, broken in to plough, Ll 3, light harness horses, L 8 to L 6. Hac-s, 3-year-olds of a good Stamp, unbroken, L 7 to L 7 ios.
