‘'’The decorations at this Church on Christmas daywere of an extremely pretty and tasteful character. The font was beautifully decorated with lilies and flowen of various hues, surmounted with toi-this. The pillars were twined with hrarhl wreaths interspersed with flowers. The lectern and pulpit were also nicely Over the communion table the text “ Unto us a child is born ; unto us a Son is given,” was worked in scarlet letters on a white scroll, and surmounted with a qross of lilies. Over the chancel arch the taxt, “Peace on earth, good will towards men,” was worked with laurel leaves. The ladies deserve great praise for the taste displayed and the way they exerted themselves in making the decorations. The service was conducted by the Rev. E. A. Scott.
